IMHX 2019 – Storage and logistics innovation needed for no-deal Brexit

The United Kingdom Warehouse Association (UKWA) has warned that UK warehouses are fast approaching capacity.

With the possibility of a no-deal Brexit ever present, businesses are looking to stockpile, and warehouse space is becoming an ever more precious commodity. The need for clever and innovative storage solutions is key for the UK logistics and warehouse industries to weather the potential storm.

Tom Pearson, CEO at Nene said:

‘The country is in a unique position at the moment, and in unchartered territory as far as the future outlook of UK logistics and warehousing, due to Brexit. What we need to do in the meantime, is to continue to develop innovative ways to provide storage solutions for our customers, to cope with the issues that may, or may not, arise as a result of the Brexit outcome. We recognise that one size does not fit all for warehouse and racking solutions, and so our number one priority is to address the exact requirements of each customer to meet their needs for now, and in the future’.

Delivering on this purpose, Nene Warehouse Solutions will be showcasing their newest technologies and storage solutions at the IHMX show, taking place at the NEC in Birmingham from the 24th to the 27th September 2019.

The largest logistics and supply chain exhibition of its kind in the UK, the long-awaited return of the exhibition has Nene teaming up with Gondola Skate, the leading, first- to- market, global mobilisation company. They will be running demonstrations of the latest mobile racking mobilisation technologies and delivering the UK launch of Nene’s mobilisation skate ‘The Bandit’. With a meeting zone and regular demonstrations throughout the day showcasing the new ‘click and plan’ software application, the Nene team will be exhibiting at stand 6D255A.
