Role Responsibilities
- Preform routine inspections of storage equipment.
- Document inspections findings, including observations, recommendations, and corrective actions taken, utilising appropriate reporting tools and systems.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to address to address identified issues promptly and effectively, ensuring minimal disruption to warehouse operations.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and procedures to optimise system reliability and longevity.
- Stay informed about industry regulations, standards and best practices related to warehouse equipment safety and compliance.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in warehouse operations, maintenance, or inspections roles, with specific knowledge of storage and retrieval systems.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems commonly used in warehouse equipment.
- Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and industry standards
- Posses a technical mindset.
- SEMA Approved Rack Inspector Qualification
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues effectively.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with team members at all levels.
- Full UK Driving licence
- Ability to manage own diary with excellent time management and planning skills
- Happy to travel
- Eligibility to work in the UK
