High Mesh Compound Solution
The Challenge
Our client, who stores a range of high-value goods within their facility approached us with a security challenge.
Due to their business holding high-value goods, they are required to offer a greater level of security around the products they hold in their facility. Nene were tasked with coming up with a solution to store these goods in a secure area within the existing space but still offering the client a fully operational picking area.
The Solution
After a full assessment of the client’s needs, Nene went about drawing up plans to create a secure compound. Nene supplied a 2,200mm high mesh compound to create a 300m² picking area.
For the picking locations, Nene utilised the Pallite Pix solution to provide 2,240 picking locations.
In addition, Nene also supplied bespoke packing benches and picking trolleys along with a power supply installation to the mesh fence, to service the packing benches.
The Finished Outcome
As promised, Nene delivered the project on time. This gave the client a solution to keep the high-value goods secure within a specialist compound that still offered all the benefits for easy picking and packing, ensuring the client can still expect high levels of efficiency and productivity from the facility.
