Paul Fagan Retirement

The day has come, the end of an era… Our Managing Director, Paul Fagan, for the last 40 years, has worked his last day today before retiring. Paul was one of the original employees that joined in 1981 and helped build the very foundations of the business and grow the company to where it is now.

Paul will always have our gratitude for all that he has done, now it’s our turn to continue the success that he has bought to the business and drive it on.

Here are a few words from Paul.

So, the time has come for me to announce my retirement from a business and industry I have thoroughly enjoyed over the last 45 years with 40 of those years with Nene Storage Equipment and 25 years as its Managing Director. Over that time I have met some incredible people, from those who have work for me through to my fantastic clients who have honoured me with their business and without them neither Paul Fagan or Nene would not be where we are today.

The Logistics Industry that many of us work in is without doubt one of the most rewarding and my hope is that we encourage more of the next generation to be part of it and as such enjoy the “Blast” that it has been for me.

I know I am leaving Nene in safe hands and the fantastic team of people who are Nene will continue to grow the business for many years to come. At Nene we have prided ourselves in not only meeting our clients needs but also caring about our staff and the needs they have.

It has been my pleasure to have served the Nene family business and to have been a part of this fantastic Logistics support Industry

On that note, I’d just like to wish everyone I have met and worked with, all the best and God bless you all in whatever you wish to achieve.

For all those who know Paul and have had the pleasure to work for and with him, I’m sure, along with everyone at Nene, join together to wish him a relaxing and well-earned retirement. For all that you have done Paul, we thank you, we are sure no doubt you will pop your head in every now and again.
