Different Types Of Polypal Racking
Polypal Push Back Racking
Polypal push back racking is high density, highly efficient storage which allows for optimised warehouse capacity using the ‘FIFO method’. Pallets are loaded onto roller tracks, carts or trolleys and pushed back along inclined storage lanes. The inclined system sends pallets from the back to the front of the lane for fast and easy picking.
Polypal Very Narrow Aisle Racking
Polypal very narrow aisle racking (VNA) is a great solution for warehouses where floor space is at a minimum and trying to optimise the space to its full potential is a priority. VNA racking allows for the widths of aisles between lanes of storage to be reduced by up 50% compared to other types of pallet storage.
VNA racking makes full use of the vertical space available by maximising the height at which goods can be stored, specialist trucks designed to work in narrow aisles can then access the goods stored.
Polypal Wide Aisle Racking
Polypal wide aisle pallet racking is most commonly used in industrial warehouses, in a wide range of sectors. Wide aisle racking (also known as standard pallet racking) is the simplest of racking solutions and allows easy access to every pallet. Wide aisle racking is also easily adjusted to suit changing storage needs.
Polypal Adjustable Pallet Racking
Polypal adjustable pallet racking (APR) is a flexible solution and can be easily built and adapted to most warehouse locations. APR systems are the most popular pallet racking systems in the world due to their versatility and can be tailored to suit many different sectors and applications.
Polypal Carton Live Storage
Polypal carton live storage is a system of trays on sloped roller tracks that are designed so that stock can move through to bays, to then be hand-loaded and picked. This system greatly reduces picking times and increases the overall efficiency of operations. This can also sometimes be referred to as ‘flow racking’.
Polypal Drive-In Pallet Racking
Polypal drive-in racking allows for forklift trucks to enter aisles easily to retrieve loads. Drive-in racking maximises vertical and floor space but building racking upwards to greater heights. This type of racking system is ideal for storing non-date-sensitive items in bulk.
Polypal Mobile Racking
Polypal mobile racking systems are standard adjustable pallet racking structures mounted onto powered bases and tracks, allowing for direct access to all pallets whilst significantly reducing the number of aisles needed. Operatives can control the racking and choose which aisle to open when they need access to it.
Polypal Pallet Live Storage
Polypal pallet live racking uses a ‘first-in-first-out’ (FIFO) system which allows for automatic stock rotation with reduced use of forklift trucks. This type of storage is ideal for environments where stock rotation is important due to date-sensitive goods being stored.
Pallets are loaded onto lanes of inclined rollers so that when a load is taken from the front, the next pallet rolls into position automatically.
