Different Types Of Mecalux Pallet Racking
Mecalux Conventional Pallet Racking
Conventional Mecalux pallet racking is the most widely used type of pallet racking across the globe. Mecalux pallet racking allows for easy access to each pallet, total stock control, and adaptability to any load type in terms of weight and volume.
Mecalux Drive-In Pallet Racking
Mecalux drive-in racking makes use of vertical space, and can free up floor space by up to 85% compared to other types of racking structures. It is Ideal for storing large quantities of non-date-sensitive goods, and allows for access to pallets easily for a standard forklift.
Mecalux Movirack Mobile Pallet Racking
Mecalux movirack mobile pallet racking is a system where racks are built on sliding guide bases, meaning that standard fixed aisles can be eliminated. This is an ideal option where floor space is limited, as by controlling the motorised bases the operator can choose which aisle to open to access the goods stored.
Mecalux Live Pallet Racking
Mecalux live pallet racking is a high capacity pallet storage system, ideal for storing goods with high rotation, as well as high consumption goods with a continuous flow. Live racking is built on rollers tracks that move pallets along the system for optimum picking, this allows for perfect pallet rotation using the FIFO method.
Mecalux Push Back Pallet Racking (LIFO)
Push back racking is a high-density, space-saving, gravity-use storage system.
Loading and unloading is completed from the same aisle (LIFO system) with capacity for up to four pallets per level. Storage capacity is highly increased and picking times are reduced, giving overall optimised warehouse operations.
