The Challenge
Our regular client is the UK’s largest builders’ merchants. Their Portsmouth branch had previously been storing 1200mm deep products on 900mm deep racking, this meant that aisle widths between racks were too narrow to work safely with branch material handling equipment.
The Solution
Existing racking was dismantled efficiently and replaced with Stow pallet racking, one of the UK’s leading suppliers of storage solutions. The newly installed racking allowed for widened aisles, which will mean safer use of branch material handling equipment. The new layout, paired with added racking protection, has resulted in overall safer branch operations going forward.
