IKEA – Sheffield
The Challenge
Global furniture manufacturer, IKEA, was in need of a new warehouse and retail solution for its new Sheffield warehouse. We were approached to provide a full installation service from warehouse design through to complete warehouse installation.
The Solution
Nene’s experienced management team offered full technical support, providing plans for the new facility, including a state-of-the-art racking fire wall system for improved health and safety. The initial stage of the project, including a two day conference in Belgium with the client, was to develop a conceptual operating design that could be used to evaluate the new warehouse and retail space. After detailing the process flows, layouts, operating descriptions and staffing requirements, the facility needed to be installed to the newly planned specification.
