The Challenge
Our client is a market leader in IT solutions and supply, including datacentre, network, and workplace hardware. Due to growth, our client moved across the road from their existing facility to accommodate expansion. The key to taking advantage of the new unit space was to maximise pallet spaces and therefore, the opportunity for further growth.
The Solution
Nene designed a bespoke Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) solution to fit the parameters of the VNA Truck and the restrictive ceiling height at only 1200w x1800h. We worked closely with electricians so that new lighting configurations and power to benches would work, and also with Toyota Material Handling to ensure that their VNA Wire Guided truck would be able to function effectively and safely in the space.
The Finished Outcome
The project was completed within schedule and budget, allowing the client to activate their clients’ needs quickly. With six lanes of bespoke racking optimising the height of the unit to its fullest, the challenge to maximise pallet space was met. In addition to the racking installation, Nene also installed wire mesh partitioning and bespoke operation benches which are situated at the end of the racking aisles.
