The Challenge
Stephenson’s Online, a fast-growing e-commerce business in Northampton, needed to increase their warehouse storage capacity quickly to meet peak demand ahead of the Christmas trading period. With a preference to avoid pallet racking, the client required a bespoke solution that could be delivered under a tight timeline without disrupting daily operations.
The Solution
To maximise the available height and floor space, Nene Warehouse Solutions proposed a mezzanine floor installation tailored to the building’s dimensions. Our design team presented three layout options, including lighting configurations and MHE recommendations, allowing the client to choose the best fit for their workflow. Once approved, Nene supplied, delivered, and installed the mezzanine, lighting, and fire alarm system within five weeks of receiving the purchase order. Full CDM compliance was managed in-house, ensuring a smooth, safe delivery. The result was a future-ready warehouse space completed on time, on budget, and ready for peak season.
