Oakland Animal Healthcare
The Challenge
Oakland Animal Healthcare had recently relocated to larger premises to accommodate rapid business growth. Although the new site came with existing racking, it was unsuitable for their needs and removed before the lease began. They required a tailored storage solution that supported their equipment, workflow, and specialist requirements.
The Solution
Nene Warehouse Solutions conducted a full site survey and designed a racking layout optimised for a Bendi-type forklift, using Nene Stow pallet racking with tunnel bays and high-performance mesh decking. To enhance safety and durability, we installed Rack Deflektors and timber end-of-rack barriers, and incorporated a pedestrian fire exit bay to meet regulatory standards. The system featured 1100mm deep frames and 3600mm beams to handle both UK and Euro pallets, with adjustments made to work around fixed obstacles within the space. Thanks to Nene’s large stock holding and efficient installation processes, the project was delivered and completed within three working weeks.
