The Challenge
Ceva Logistics wanted to expand its warehousing and commercial capacity without relocating from its current site. The client approached Nene Warehouse Solutions with a plan to develop a new warehouse space on adjacent land, aiming to support their growth while remaining operational. Nene was given a strict ten-month timeframe to complete the entire development, from groundworks to full internal fit-out.
The Solution
Nene owned the land directly behind Ceva’s facility, making the project both feasible and efficient. Once planning permission and commercial agreements were secured, Nene cleared and prepared the site, laid foundations, and constructed a steel-framed building within ten weeks. After the structure was made watertight, the internal works began, including the installation of a 15,000 sqft mezzanine floor, bespoke office fit-out, canteen, clean rooms, and training centre. Pallet racking and LED lighting were installed to match the operational layout. The full turnkey solution was delivered six weeks ahead of schedule and within budget.
