Briggs – Cambridge
The Challenge
Briggs had recently taken on a completely empty warehouse space in Cambridge, with no existing infrastructure to support their materials handling operation. They needed a fast, efficient fit-out that would create a structured storage layout, maximise space usage, and deliver a safe, functional working environment for their team.
The Solution
Nene Warehouse Solutions carried out a full site consultation and designed a bespoke storage layout using three runs of adjustable pallet racking, offering 36 shelving levels with a maximum run length of 19.8 metres. The installation included mesh decking for improved airflow and visibility, ensuring safe and efficient stock management. To protect the racking from accidental damage, impact-resistant rack deflectors were installed at key locations. This complete solution transformed the space into a high-capacity, operational warehouse with enhanced safety and long-term flexibility.
