The Challenge

Our customer is a leading online beauty e-commerce business, located in Northampton. They approached us to design a solution to increase their storage capacity for their rapidly increasing warehouse operations. The project was on a tight time frame due to the customer urgently needing their space to be optimised in the run-up to Christmas.

The Solution

Due to the height and dimensions of the building, the best solution to maximise space was to install a mezzanine floor, as the customer did not want to use adjustable pallet racking.

Nene created 3 designs for the mezzanine floor project, showing various lighting options, and advised which MHE we felt would best suit the customer’s operation. After agreeing on a design with the client, Nene could begin work to deliver the final outcome.

The Finished Outcome

The customer needed the mezzanine floor, lighting, and fire alarm system installed before the Christmas shopping period began, and from receipt of the purchase order our team supplied, delivered, and installed within 5 weeks. The project was completed within schedule and budget, allowing the client to resume warehouse operations quickly and more efficiently. Going forward their warehouse will be more easily adaptable to their changing needs.
