Drive In

"I have a large number of identical pallets, but due to safety & production damage restraints I cannot block stack.  However, I need to get as many pallets as possible into an area where specialist equipment is not required."

When high density storage is required, and block stacking is not an option, the best solution available is to install a drive-in racking system.

  • High density bulk storage.
  • Accessible with conventional fork trucks.
  • Reduction in number of aisles required.
  • Pallets can be stored several deep.
  • Individual pallet support eliminates any damage from crushing.
  • Particularly suited to cold or chilled environments.

As the racking lanes are side by side there is no need for conventional aisles. All that is required is a sufficient aisle to retrieve the pallets. This saving in space equals extra storage.

The only cost of this high density storage solution is that the first pallet in is the last pallet out. However, where low stock rotation is required or if products are shipped & received in batches, then this will not cause any problems.
